Safe from relegation with Swansea City, there will be some Arsenal fans urging goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski to just let Leicester City win on Sunday afternoon.

Swansea face the Foxes at the King Power Stadium on Sunday and Fabianski’s former fans will be hoping he concedes as many goals as possible to keep Tottenham as far from the title as possible.

Ever the professional, the Pole can’t just let Leicester score and knows full well he has to do his best for his current club.

“It’s all right, I can’t say it’s tricky,” the goalkeeper admitted, looking ahead to the game. Leicester are five points clear of Spurs with four Premier League games remaining but won’t have striker Jamie Vardy on hand this weekend to make sure the lead is maintained.

Fabianski, though, is sure his former teammates wouldn’t hold a clean sheet against him.

“I don’t think they (former Arsenal teammates) would stop talking to me if we help Spurs. But if there is a favour it will be done as a team and as a club.

“We just have to go out there and do our best to get a result.”

There are no favours to be done! don’t get a result!

Spurs haven’t won England’s top flight since 1961 and, frankly, we’d never hear the end of it if they managed to do so this season.

So, Lukasz, do what you have to do. Just don’t hold a door to the title open for Tottenham.
