According to reports, Arsenal (and Chelsea) are interested in Shakhtar Donetsk forward, Wellington Nem.

The 24-year-old has found it difficult to get game time at the Ukrainian club, having only played 13 matches and scored two goals this season.

According to Sport Witness, Wellington’s teammate, Taison, is also up for sale and both Arsenal and Chelsea have shown interest. Taison has been considerably better so they may be trying to flog them as a duo in order to get rid of Wellington.

Our other Wellington, Wellington Silva, is currently on loan at Bolton and I think one is enough at the club. It’s doesn’t sound as if Nem has anything to offer us and he’s too old for our youth squad, so I have no idea where he’d fit in. Taison on the other hand, having scored eight and assisted 15, might be an option. Saying that, I still think we have bigger fish to fry.
