Arsenal have 11 Premier League games left this season, and six are at home.

If the last week was the worst cake in the world, Arsenal’s performance at Old Trafford was the icing. It was away against Manchester United, but they are the worst they’ve been in two decades and have a lot of injuries, there was little excuse for our performance.

However, we must move on quickly and having an instant midweek fixture to hit back is only positive. Swansea City are the visitors on Wednesday, so let’s hit them with some backlash.

“We have not too much time to dwell on that and we want to focus on our next game,” Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger said on Tuesday morning.

“It was an away game, we know now we have six home games and every home game becomes of course very important.”

Winning every home game from now on seems the least Arsenal can do. Our away schedule is incredibly tough, featuring trips to Spurs, West Ham, Everton, Sunderland and Manchester City.

At home the only top half team we have left to play are Watford, who are 10th in the league. We really can’t afford to drop many more points and, if we are to drag ourselves back into the hunt, it’ll be winning every home game that launches us back into the race.
