Arsene Wenger has hit out at those who have questioned Arsenal’s spirit this season.

Addressing the media ahead of our away match against Hull City on Tuesday, the boss was quick to criticise those who have accused our team of lacking desire and spirit.

“When people question the spirit, they are not right,” he said.

“We influenced by our desire to win.”

Although we dropped points to Spurs on Saturday, there were plenty of positives to be taken from our performance in general and in some ways, it felt like a win. I know, I know: it’s a sad state of affairs when we see drawing against our north London rivals as a good thing but considering how we played against Manchester United and Swansea, I think we need to look at the silver lining.

After going down to 10 men thanks to an avoidable red card, which I’ll never forgive Francis Coquelin for, Spurs had us against the ropes but we fought back. This is what we need to show for the rest of the season.
