Watford have drawn Crystal Palace in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley.

The draw makes the loss to the Hornets on Sunday even harder to take considering that if we had beaten them, we almost certainly would have beaten the Eagles at Wembley.

In the final we would have faced either Everton, Manchester United or West Ham, all of which I’m confident we could have beaten if given the chance in the final. Sadly we won’t get that chance after Watford knocked us out at the Emirates after a well-fought 2-1.

We said before the match that the cup was once again ours to lose. The problem is that this time we did lose it. And in a game that we really should have won. This wasn’t Leicester, City or Chelsea. This was, with all due respect, a team we’d previously beaten 3-0.

The FA Cup semi-finals will take place on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of April. If you can stomach them.
