Reiss Nelson scored two goals for England u17s as they defeated Turkey 3-1 in the first of three games to be played this week.

Nelson opened the scoring on the stroke of halftime as he latched on to a through ball from Jonathon Leko. Leko then turned goalscorer on his debut as he made it 2-0 in the second half.

Nelson made it three from the spot after Sessegnon had been fouled in the box to secure England’s first three points in U17 Euro qualifying.

Marcus McGuane also played the full match while Tolaji Bola was on the bench but was not used.

Nelson, who only turned 16 in December, can play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder.

He has made a total of 15 appearances for the Arsenal youngsters this season, with six of those coming in the U21 Premier League and six in the UEFA Youth League. He has one goal and two assists in the league.
