Arsene Wenger has met with the press ahead of Arsneal’s Champions League clash on Wednesday night.

Speaking to assembled reporters, the manager confirmed that Laurent Koscielny has returned to the squad and has replaced Calum Chambers.

Arsene Wenger added “The magicians from Barcelona will demand a good defensive performance from our side.

“Our approach was not bad in the first leg but we lost our balance and got caught.

“We are in a position where we don’t have to calculate too much. We know we have to attack and score goals.

“We have gone through a disappointing spell and it is important to remain calm and strong.

“We have won everywhere in Europe, but not here yet. The players are united to give a strong performance.”

Koscielny has been out since he injured his calf at Old Trafford.

His loss has been keenly felt with Gabriel struggling in his place and Arsenal enduring a terrible run of form which has seen them fall behind Leicester in the league and get knocked out of the FA Cup.

Even though Kos would probably not have played against Watford on Sunday, his return to the side cannot come quickly enough.
