Heading into the north London derby, the two sides appear to have differing fortunes when it comes to injuries.

Arsenal will be without Petr Čech and Laurent Koscielny at White Hart Lane on Saturday, but the hosts have received much more positive updates from Mauricio Pochettino on Friday.

They were without Dele Alli (from the start, he came off the bench) and Mousa Dembele in a midweek performance which saw them lose at Upton Park, but both could be available to face Arsenal this weekend.

Alli has been excellent all season, and Dembele is a robust midfielder who contributes to Spurs’ pressing game well but is also very important for them in possession.

If both are available it isn’t good news for Arsenal, who are without Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla in the middle of the park. Mathieu Flamini has been poor, Mohamed Elneny isn’t yet trusted it seems and Mikel Arteta can’t stay fit at all.

Arsenal will need a strong performance on Saturday to keep title hopes alive, but with Alli and Dembele both expected to return it just got a whole lot tougher.
