Santi Cazorla has made a hasty reply concerning rumours that he could be out for the rest of the season with an Achilles injury.

Although Arsene Wenger confirmed that he’s currently having issues with his Achilles tendon and that he’s not doing too well in training, he didn’t specify how long he would be out for and instead implied that we just need to be cautious.

Unusually for an Arsenal player, Cazorla has actually got involved and shot down any stories in the press that he might be out for the rest of the season.

It’s good to see that the Spaniard is hopeful about his recovery and that he suspects he’ll be back by April, when planned.

Our midfield is really missing him and to have him back in that final push for the title could prove to be massive.

Of course first we have to focus on Swansea…
