Mesut Ozil has confirmed that he will feature for Germany during the interlull.

The midfielder, who was subbed off in our 2-0 win against Everton on Saturday with a suspected ankle injury, has confirmed that he will feature against England and Italy.

Although Arsene Wenger did confirm after the Premier League win that it looked as if Ozil had just taken a knock, Arsenal fans were understandably a little anxious seeing our star player hobble off the pitch.

Thankfully, or not, depending on how you look at it, the player has confirmed that his “participation in the two games is not at risk.”

Considering the two matches are only friendlies, some may argue it would have been wiser for Ozil and Wenger to play up the injury a bit in order to give him a much-needed rest. However, on the plus side, it’s good to hear that he’s not seriously injured and won’t miss any Arsenal games.
