Time to look away, Arsenal fans.

Almost undoubtedly the best player in the world, Lionel Messi has punished Arsenal time and time again, scoring an unbelievable nine Champions League goals against the Gunners after netting once again on Wednesday night.

It is, indeed, a Champions League record for a player against one club.

The nine goals have come in six appearances with Messi finding the back of the net three more times against the Gunners this season.

Four goals in a single name knocked Arsenal out of the Champions League back in 2010, but Arsenal coped a little better the year after, only conceding twice to the Argentine. This season was Messi’s third game at the Emirates Stadium but the first time he manage to score in London, he managed to grab both goals in the 2-0 defeat of Arsène Wenger’s men.

The problem is you just can’t do much about it.
