The Times are reporting that Chelsea youngster, Domingos Quina, has walked out of the club and that Chelsea fear he has already agreed to join another club, possibly Arsenal.

It’s not clear why he has left the club in the manner that he has with some saying he’s simply not happy with them. That’s not a reason, really, but people are often pacified with a ‘because’ even when it tells you nothing.

The Times said

The Times has learnt that Quina did not return to Chelsea after coming back to London from international duty on Tuesday and intends to train on his own until he finds another club.

Chelsea fear that he has already agreed to join one of their Barclays Premier League rivals.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have all monitored the midfielder’s performances for Chelsea Under-18.

They also sent scouts to watch him play for Portugal Under-17 away to Croatia on Monday.

Quina has been with Chelsea since he was 13 and because he’s not yet 17 is only under a scholarship contract with the Blues.

He turns 17 in November.

An attacking midfielder, the Portuguese is rarely talked about without the word ‘prodigy’ also being included in the sentence.
