Arsenal will have to go to White Hart Lane with David Ospina in goal as their season starts to implode around them.

Petr Cech is ruled out with a groin/calf problem he apparently had before the game and exacerbated when he went up for a corner at the end of the game against Swansea on Wednesday night.

The news comes as Arsenal fans are trying to get their heads around their side blowing what looked like the most winnable league title in a decade.

That they now have to go to the Lane to face Tottenham with Calamity Dave in goal is simply, well, gutting.

Speaking to the press after the game, Arsene Wenger said “He [Cech] struggled. He had a little groin problem before the game and I think he struggled a little bit tonight.

“He will not play on Saturday.

“I trust Ospina completely.

“I don’t know [how serious it is], we have to see. It’s a muscular problem, a calf problem and I don’t know how long he will be out for.”

So what is it, Arsene? A groin? A calf? And do you really trust Ospina? Really?

Because we certainly don’t.
