Many Arsenal fans want a new striker, but they probably don’t have a 16-year-old in mind.

The Gunners are reportedly watching Partizan Belgrade striker Dusan Vlahovic, being dubbed by some as the ‘next Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ for his large stature and technical ability.

Though he is yet to score or even start a game, Vlahovic is already playing first team football and is the youngest player to ever receive a professional contract at Partizan. Needless to say, he’s attracting attention.Six substitute appearances into a professional career.

Six substitute appearances into a professional career has been enough to already receive interest from Arsenal and Manchester City but both clubs have fallen behind PSG in the race to take Vlahovic to a major European club.

According to France Football, PSG have already made an enquiry for the teenage Serbian.

The report also says that Partizan would hope to hold onto the striker for at least another year, but they may find that difficult if significant offers are made and the player’s head is turned.

Arsenal have made impressive leaps signing youth players in the last 18 months and look set to add 16-year-old Chelsea attacking midfielder Domingos Quina to the youth team within the next few days.
