According to the French media, Arsene Wenger has gone HAM on his players and banned them from speaking to the press due to our poor results recently.

The boss is so unhappy with our apparent inability to win matches that he’s said our players can’t speak to the press as they can’t afford to have any more distractions.

To be fair, while I agree that we need to focus on getting our form back, I highly doubt the reason we’ve been dropping points left, right and centre has anything to do with our players giving the odd interview. Although I appreciate filming can take a while, these type of interviews are usually done outside of training time and really, if we can’t at least begin to work out the kinks in our performances on the training pitch, what hope do we have?

I’m much more inclined to believe that if Wenger has banned the players from speaking to the press, it’s more to do with them not getting bogged down with frustrating questions on our form and the title race.
