Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has claimed he has never see his dressing room so happy and relaxed ahead of the game against Arsenal on Sunday.

High off their 5-1 win in the Europa League where they seem to have found their level against FC Midjtylland, the Old Trafford side are buoyed but in pieces as they prepare to welcome the Gunners to their home.

“I have never seen the dressing room quite so happy and relaxed,” Van Gaal said.

“Not only the players who played, but those on the bench and those who are injured, they were all laughing and talking with each other and happy. It has been quite a long time since that happened.”

But United will need more than just happiness if they are to get anything against Arsenal who continue their assault on the Premier League title.

United are without a large chunk of their squad through injury, while Arsenal are favourites to win at Old Trafford for the first time in Premier League history.

That being said, it wouldn’t be unprecedented for Arsenal to implode for no other reason than it’s what they do when they go to Old Trafford.

Who knows how it’s going to go…
