Anthony Martial beat a hasty retreat from the pitch before Manchester United’s kick-off against FC Midtjylland on Thursday evening.

The £36m striker has been a revelation for the Red Devils so far this season after scoring seven Premier League goals and if he is sidelined through injury, it’ll be a big blow to the team.

From an Arsenal perspective, this is pretty good news considering we face United at Old Trafford on Sunday and although the 20-year-old failed to find the net during our 3-0 win in October, that doesn’t mean to say we’ll have as much luck this time.

Although Louis van Gaal doesn’t seem to think the injury is too serious and claimed the Frenchman came off as a precaution, it’s likely that he could miss the match on Sunday.

Martial will be another name added to United’s growing list of injured players and while it’s suspected that David de Gea will return for the Arsenal game, the United manager confirmed Chris Smalling will still be out.
