Leicester striker, Leonardo Ulloa, appears optimistic ahead of the Foxes’ clash with Arsenal on Sunday.

The 29-year-old, who’s had to play second fiddle to the prolific Jamie Vardy so far this season, reckons if the Foxes play with the same spirit they’ve shown thus far, they should get a positive outcome.

“We need to enjoy this and then we must start to think about Arsenal,” Ulloa said to Leicester City‘s official website.
“We knew this game was difficult for us, the last two have been, but we have six points. Now we focus on the next game.
“After today anything is possible. We must try to play the same, with the same intensity and spirit, and after we wait to see what happens at the end of the season.

“It is part of our spirit. The manager says we must fight for every ball. The result is the second thing, the first thing is to fight and to work for the team.”

He added, “But we don’t think about the title, just about the next game. We take it step by step and at the end of the season we will know what happens. It will be another tough game [against Arsenal].”

Something that’s pleasant about Ulloa’s comments is that, once again, the Leicester player just seems to be having fun and enjoying their run in the League. He’s not issuing battle cries, just providing gentle encouragement for his team. The striker appears optimistic without being cocky, which makes a refreshing change to our usual title rivals.

The match on Sunday will be our biggest of the season so far. If we win, we go two points from the top; if we lose, although the League will be far from over… it doesn’t look good. All the more reason to get all three points, eh lads?
