Arsene Wenger confirmed that Tomas Rosicky will be out for up to three months with a severe muscular injury to his thigh during his press conference ahead of our match against Bournemouth.

It was the midfielder’s first match back after spending seven months watching from the sidelines and Wenger admitted that the fact that he got injured straight away has come as a huge shock for both player and club.

The boss was keen to stay away from the subject of Rosicky not getting to play for Arsenal again, since he wants to remain positive for the player. However, with the Czech international out of contract in the summer, it’s not looking good.

Now, Rosicky’s agent, Pavel Paska, has spoken to Sport.cz about the claims that our Little Mozart has played his last match in an Arsenal shirt, saying, “It did not mean the end of the season. As for the championship, it will naturally fight against time.”

He later added, “I will not speculate at all now. Tomas definitely not thinking of retirement. Initial them to heal, and then we’ll see what to do next, where he will continue.”

The agent went on to reveal that Rosicky could spend some time in Germany to heal quickly and that then they would assess the situation. However, he’s anxious not to rush things.
