Despite Arsenal beating Bournemouth 2-0 on Sunday, Thierry Henry isn’t convinced that we’re doing enough to win the title.

Leicester are currently sitting pretty five points clear at the top of the Premier League table after beating Manchester City 3-1 at the Etihad. This makes our match against then next Sunday even more important than we could have predicted in August, and it seems Arsenal legend, Henry, remains unconvinced by our recent performances.

“If I had said to you that Chelsea would struggle, Manchester City would struggle, you would have thought that it would be a season that Arsenal would walk away with it easily,” he said.

“And it’s not happening.

“I would question also the mentality of it. The game against Chelsea, they didn’t score. Those are the sort of games you need to win.

“They need three points. It is business. You don’t win the league for a very long time. Can you win it? It’s time to wake up and do it.

“For me at the moment, Leicester are THE team to win it. They’re not only showing they can win it, they’re showing they can cope with the pressure.”

Although it appears that Henry is being harsh, if social media was anything to go by during and after our win over the Cherries, most Gooners aren’t exactly feeling confident going into our match against Leicester next Sunday.

Our win against Bournemouth was reasonably comfortable and we walked away with three points and no additional injuries. However, the real test is whether we can keep this up against our title rivals. Hopefully this win will give us the belief we need.
