Arsenal had a worrying amount of shots against Southampton on Tuesday considering we scored a big, fat zero.

The draw was hugely frustrating for Arsenal, who haven’t won or scored for that matter, in three Premier League matches.

The amount of shots we had on target, compared to the amount we scored pretty much sums up the entire games. As much as we were happy to shoot, we just weren’t clinical enough. Most of our attempts were directly at Forster or too weak to even trouble the Southampton keeper.

It’s not unusual to have matches where you shoot and shoot and nothing happens. That’s fine. What isn’t fine is that this has now become a regular occurrence.

It’s a sad state of affairs, considering the quality we have, and we now drop to fourth in the Premier League. Far from the position we were hoping to be in at this point.
