Tomas Rosicky still has high hopes for Arsenal and has insisted that we haven’t actually performed too badly despite our lack of wins.

The midfielder, who’s been watching from the sidelines for the past seven months and is set to be out for at least another three, insisted ahead of our match against Bournemouth that despite not getting a win in four matches, we’re not doing too badly.

“Although we have had a bad spell because we have not won for four games, the performances haven’t been bad at all,” he said.

“In the game against Southampton we had plenty of chances and the performance was alright, but we have to show more killer instinct.”

No matter how true Rosicky’s comments are, they’ll come as little consolation to Gooners, who have had to watch a team who were hovering around the top until December, drop to fourth. Although we’re far from completely out of the title race, with Leicester smashing Manchester City 3-1 at the Etihad on Saturday, it’ll be a big task to make those points back.

It makes our clash with the Foxes at the Emirates even more important – something we never thought would be the case at the beginning of the season.
