Arsenal face a replay away at Hull after drawing 0-0 against the Tigers.

The first half was frustrating with Arsenal having the lion’s share of just about everything but still proving unable to find the back of the net.

Mohamed Elneny had an early chance in the opening minutes, which lead to penalty claim after a hand ball by Bruce.

We continued to press, with Walcott looking lively and getting in behind Hull’s defence, and Welbeck looking sharp. Sure enough the latter forced a save out of the keeper and later had a penalty claim waved away by referee Mike Dean.

At the other end, Hull had a set-piece, which was expertly delivered into the box where Ospina managed to get nowhere near ball and Koscielny, who was having a good match, had to header the ball out of the danger zone.

Although we were having a go, if Hull were going to get a goal, it would be via a set-piece, as this was when they looked the most deadly.

The second half started similarly to the first with a decent shot from Walcott early on. In the 51st minute, Alex Iwobi also had a superb chance to put us ahead, which was saved and therefore resulted in a corner. We also had yet another penalty denied when Chambers was brought down just inside the box.

Although the Hull defence didn’t exactly look solid, they were doing their job and keeping us out of that net. Just minutes later Campbell took a stunning free-kick, which the goalkeeper goal his fingertips to and managed to knock it onto his right post.

However, the more we threatened, the more structured the Hull defence came and we found it impossible to break through.

Our lack of width and cutting edge in front of goal meant we failed to grab even a last ditch winner.
