Sat down for yesterday’s press conference, Ivan Rakitic was as relaxed as you’d expect any Barcelona player to be.

Tuesday night’s game between Arsenal and the European champions is incredibly exciting for us fans but, for players like Rakitic, it must eventually just start to feel like another game. A team that won the treble last season and is on a 32-game unbeaten run in all competitions is unlikely to be fazed.

The Croatian midfielder isn’t as big a name as most of the Barça side, but he’s used to this sort of occasion. In 2014 he captained Sevilla to a Europa League final win, and last season he went one better scoring the opening goal in the Champions League final.

Despite respecting Arsenal totally, Barcelona and Rakitic are coming to London to play their game.

Barcelona are more than used to the pressure of being favourites and, as the Croatian said, ended almost every tie after just 90 minutes on their way to winning the competition last season.

Can Arsenal get a result that keeps it competitive heading to Camp Nou?
