The title race is in full swing and as tight as it has been for years, with four teams in contention. That means, now more than ever, clashes between the rival sides chasing glory will be crucial.

Arsenal have already beaten Manchester City and Leicester City (twice) this season, and a game against Spurs at White Hart Lane is just a week and a half away.

Well then, what a horrible time for Belgian midfielder Mousa Dembélé to pick up an injury. The midfielder has been in excellent form this season and is a real driving force in the Spurs midfield alongside Dele Alli and Eric Dier.

However, a groin injury suffered at the weekend could leave Spurs without him for games against Fiorentina, Swansea City, West Ham United and then Arsenal on 5th March.

“Mousa, we expect maybe longer – ten days or two weeks,” Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has said. “It’s not a big issue, similar as the one he picked up against Watford.

“It’s a small problem but it’s in a very bad moment with the games we have coming up.”

Without Dembélé, Spurs will have to turn to Ryan Mason, Tom Carroll or Nabil Bentaleb but it’s clear Pochettino prefers the Belgian and has a fairly settled favourite side. We’ll see how it affects them but missing the midfielder against Arsenal would be a boost for Arsène Wenger’s men.
