Bayern Munich’s future manager, Carlo Ancelotti, claims that Arsene Wenger changed Arsenal’s style completely and this has allowed us to close the gap on Barcelona.

Speaking to Goal, the Italian praised Arsenal’s attacking style and admitted that although we’re not quite at Barcelona’s level, we are getting there.

“Arsene Wenger has changed their style of play, they’re playing more on the counterattack, using the skills of their strikers – Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez,” he said.

“Maybe they’ve closed the gap but Barcelona are really strong.”

The former Chelsea boss also spoke about his love of the Champions League and his former club Roma’s chances in the competition, as well as some of the other interesting ties we’re about to see in the final 16.
