Arsenal head into the fourth round of the FA Cup this weekend with plenty of positive injury news, and more of it could be just around the corner.

After seeing Alexis Sánchez back in action last Sunday, Arsenal fans are set to see Francis Coquelin and Tomas Rosicky return in Saturday’s home game against Burnley. Both midfielders are fit and available, as confirmed by Arsène Wenger.

That leaves us with just a few injured players, as Danny Welbeck is allegedly training again, and we could have an entire squad fully fit when Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla return. The two playmakers returning would be a huge boost to our title hopes.

“Jack and Santi are progressing well but they are at least a few weeks away. But these two apart, it is just about competitiveness and match fitness,” Wenger said to the official website. Having those players back could give the manager a selection headache, but it’s one he would welcome after weeks of using the same players over and over again.

We could see them feature in u21 games before they make their full returns, but it’s great just to know they’re closer than ever. Wilshere is yet to play this season after suffering an injury in training before the Community Shield win over Chelsea, while it’s almost two months since we saw Cazorla in action.

Both players would give Arsène Wenger timely boosts ahead of the run in, and bring with them renewed optimism.
