Marta Corredera and Vicky Losada have been called up for the upcoming Euro qualifier against Montenegro.

Natalia Pablos Sancho misses out again on a cap.

Spain will be away to Montenegro on the 24th of January with a 1pm CET kick-off in Petrovac. María Victoria, Losada Gómez and Marta Corredera Rueda are in the squad but their Arsenal team-mate, Natalia Pablos Sanchon, is once again not selected by coach Jorge Vilda.

Spain are currently top of the Group 2 table with nine points in three, ahead of Finland with six points in three. Portugal and Ireland both have three points in three. Arsenal’s Emma Byrne and Katie McCabe are both regulars in the Irish squad.

Montenegro have no points from two games and should not trouble Spain at all. Spain would then have a big lead on Finland and qualify.

The eight group winners and the six best group runners-up qualify directly for the final tournament. Finland would be favourite to be runner-up at the moment, with Ireland needing huge wins against the top two teams to have a realistic chance of qualifying.
