Thierry Henry reacted just like every Arsenal fan after our loss against Chelsea on Sunday: with frustration.

It was the perfect opportunity to get one over on our London rivals.

Despite a slight turnaround since interim manager, Guus Hiddink, took over, they’re still languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table and have proven time and time again that they’re very beatable.

On the other hand, we’ve beaten the likes of Manchester City and Man United at home this season. It seemed like this would be our chance to overcome that mental barrier we have when facing the Blues.

However, an early sending off for Per Mertesacker left us with 70 minutes to play with just 10 men. When we went 1-0 down to a Diego Costa goal soon after, we knew we had an uphill battle on our hands.

After the match, the Arsenal legend claimed that Chelsea, and Costa, had got the last laugh once again.

“It’s always the same thing,” the pundit said.

“There’s always a big expectation when Arsenal play Chelsea.

“Can they finally beat them? And again it’s Diego Costa and Chelsea having the last laugh.”

I can totally understand Henry’s frustration, as I’m sure many of us feel it too. All we can do is move on to our next match but it’s getting a bit worrying that this has become the norm after facing Chelsea.
