Nacho Monreal has signed a new contract with Arsenal, but do you know the details?

Arsenal are notoriously sheepish when it comes to revealing the nuts and bolts of player’s contracts but we believe that Nacho has signed up for another three years with his wages coming in at around £80,000 per week.

Arriving at Arsenal in the January transfer window of 2013, when his transfer was fast tracked due to an injury to Kieran Gibbs, Arsenal originally signed the Spaniard on a deal worth £65k per week.

His form since he turned up in north London has steadily improved and he has made left-back the starting spot his own, relegating Gibbs to the bench and regular late appearances when Arsenal are looking to see out a game.

Monreal has represented Spain at all levels with 16 senior caps to his name after making his debut in an exhibition game against Macedonia in 2009.

His new deal will run to 2019 when Nacho will be 32.

He’s also awesome.
