Although we’ve only lost one match at home in the Premier League (cheers, West Ham), our away form leaves a lot to be desired.

In fact, worryingly, we’ve conceded seven goals in our last two away fixtures.

Although the 4-0 drubbing at St. Mary’s was far more humiliating than our 3-3 draw at Anfield, it’s still a huge issue that needs to be addressed.

Is it because we’re too naive and try to play our usual attacking game, which often prevails at home, while away? Is it something to do with our confidence?

This was something I thought we had managed to overcome after numerous embarrassments away to the likes of Man City, Chelsea and, frustratingly, Liverpool but it appears not.

Two games do not ruin a title challenge – at least not at this point in the season – and hopefully we can regroup, see where we went wrong and focus on the fact we still won a point at Anfield.
