An alarming statistic from OptaJoe after our 3-3 draw against Liverpool shows that Arsenal are no stranger to last minute goals at Anfield, nor are we a stranger to late equalisers.
Arsenal were 3-2 up until the 90th minute when Joe Allen decided to put his stupid body in the way of the ball and score.
Frustratingly, it was complete deja vu for the Gunners. In fact, this was the fourth late equaliser we’ve suffered at the hands of Liverpool.

Not only this, but it was the 16th late goal between the two teams – the most in Premier League history.

With these stats in mind, it makes the late equaliser even more irritating, considering we should have been more than prepared.
Saying this, it’s not the end of the world. A point is a point and we’re still top of the Premier League. Anfield is never an easy place to visit and we can take positives from not coming away with a loss.
