A much changed Arsenal will take to the pitch on Saturday, when the Gunners host Burnley in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Arsène Wenger has already given some team news in Friday morning’s press conference, but we are left guessing what he will do with the majority of his line-up at the weekend.

We already have confirmation from the boss that David Ospina will start in goal, playing for the first time since his blunder against Olympiacos earlier on this season. The manager has faith in him, he says, but the fact we’ve not since him since then says a lot.

In front of him, Arsenal will be without Per Mertesacker after his red card against Chelsea last weekend. That could mean an opportunity at centre-half for Calum Chambers. Gabriel is likely to start, so his partner depends on whether or not Laurent Koscielny could do with a rest. Kieran Gibbs will also start with Nacho Monreal left out, but Hector Bellerin will probably have to play at right-back.

The midfield sees a number of players return, and Wenger has some interesting decisions to make. Are Tomas Rosicky and Francis Coquelin fit enough to start, is Mohamed Elneny ready for his debut? My guess is he’ll say: no, yes, yes.

Wenger will want Coquelin available as soon as possible, while this is the perfect time to give Elneny his first game since his transfer from Basel. Rosicky, however, has only played 45 minutes for the u21 side since the summer and may have to settle for a place on the bench.

That would mean a start for Alex Iwobi, who also started in the third round defeat of Sunderland. The Nigerian has said he is ready for his next chance in the side and will be looking to impress once again.

Out wide, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should be given another chance to recapture his form and Alexis Sanchez should start for the first time since picking up a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw with Norwich back in November.

That leaves the striking position, and Theo Walcott could start there for the first time in months. Olivier Giroud has made the position his own, but the return of Alexis means Walcott will be free to stake his claim in the middle once again.
