Whenever these two managers meet there tends to be a bit of a love-in.

On the pitch, however, things will be slightly different as Arsenal look to make sure they remain in top spot in the Premier League and Liverpool look to recover from what has been a far from stellar campaign from them this season.

Both sides have their injury problems going into the game, but for the first time in living memory, Arsenal are not as badly hit as their opponents who, if you believe the media, are the only team in the history of the game to suffer an injury crisis.

With quite a few familiar faces set to be missing, here are the teams that will do battle at Anfield:

Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Sakho, Moreno, Henderson, Milner, Can, Lallana, Ibe, Firmino.

Subs: Ward, Caulker, Smith, Lucas, Allen, Teixeira, Benteke.

Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Kos, Monreal, Ramsey, Flamini, Ozil, Walcott, Campbell, Giroud.

Subs: Macey, Gabriel, Gibbs, Ox, Chambers, Arteta, Iwobi.
