17-year-old Nigeria youth Captain, Kelechi Nwakali, has confirmed via his personal Facebook page that he is indeed an Arsenal player.

The midfielder, who has been heavily linked with a move to our youth squad during the January transfer window, has finally completed his move to north London.

During Arsene Wenger’s pre-Burnley press conference on Friday, the boss confirmed that we were looking to bring the youngster in before the transfer window ended.

Wenger also confirmed we’re trying to sign Nwakali’s 16-year-old team-mate, Samuel Chukwueze, who is also pictured above.

The Nigerian international will be a great addition to our youth team and it’s seems he can’t wait to get started, which is exactly the type of attitude we need at Arsenal.
