It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: Tomas Rosicky is back in training.

The midfielder has returned to training ahead of our Premier League clash against Liverpool on Wednesday and I, for one, am over the moon.

Rosicky has been sidelined for months with a knee injury and it’s fantastic to see him back in training after being out for so long. Although the 35-year-old isn’t exactly a spring chicken anymore and even before his injury had trouble playing a whole match, he’s a brilliant sub to bring on. He injects pace, creativity and skill when the rest of us are lagging and has the ability to pick us up.

Also in training was Alex Iwobi, who impressed during our FA Cup win over Sunderland on Saturday. The youngster looked confident and comfortable on the ball, and it’s therefore of no surprise that he may make an appearance against the Reds midweek.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide made a short appearance against the Black Cats and also joined the first team in training ahead of the match.
