Kieran Gibbs is reportedly considering a move away from Arsenal in hope of getting more playing time elsewhere.

The left-back, who’s been overtaken in the pecking order at Arsenal thanks to Nacho Monreal’s consistent solidarity at the back, is said to want a move so he can challenge of a position in the England team ahead of the Euros.

The 26-year-old is a decent full-back and the only reason he has been dropped is because Monreal is just that good. I’ve always loved Gibbs as a player and it’d be a shame if he did leave, considering the fact that he’s been at Arsenal his entire career.

According to the reports, Newcastle, Swansea and Crystal Palace are all interested and, to be fair, he would get playing time in any one of those teams while staying in the Premier League. However, I’d be genuinely sad to see him go.

If he feels it’s the right time, however, we can’t really argue with his choice.
