Bournemouth are reportedly looking to buy former Arsenal striker, Benik Afobe.

The 22-year-old played for us until this season when, after years of loan deals, he signed for Wolves permanently. So far this season he’s scored 10 goals in 27 appearances and made two assists.

It’d be great to see the striker in the Premier League. Although he didn’t make it at Arsenal, the young man is obviously ambitious and I’m sure would love to move up a league. Saying this, he’s really cemented himself at Wolves and he may not want to move mid-season.

The Cherries are reportedly willing to pay £10m for Afobe and this may be enough to turn Wolves’ heads.

I’m sure, if the rumours are true, he won’t take the offer lightly and signing for a side like Bournemouth could be exactly the stepping stone he needs.

Here are all Afobe’s goals for Wolves last season.
