Arsenal are reportedly preparing to trigger Celta Vigo forward, Nolito’s, release clause… again.

The bid, which is supposedly around £13.4m, is said to be enough to bring the 29-year-old to north London. Although this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this. Back in December, it was reported that we wanted to bring the Spaniard to Arsenal for a similar amount.

The rumours momentarily subsided and now it appears they’ve resurfaced, with an additional £0.4m added onto the price.

Guillem Balague has previously insisted that Nolito doesn’t want to move to Arsenal, despite stalling over a new contract with Celta Vigo, and that the player actually wants a move to La Liga giants, Barcelona. It’s therefore far more likely that he’ll be heading there.

Although it’s clear we should be finalising the deal for Elneny very soon, I don’t see Wenger bringing anyone else in during the January transfer window unless something huge happens.

However unlikely, check out some of Nolito’s highlights for Celta below.
