The transfer window has just opened in the FA WSL and will close in three months time, just before the competition starts. Here is a recap of all the moves recorded by the club so far.

Out:

Siobhan Chamberlain came back from her loan at Notts County and then moved permanently to Liverpool Ladies to get the number one shirt. She did not get the number of games her talent deserved at Arsenal.

Chioma Ubogagu, following her very succesful season, went home to Texas and has signed for the Houston Dash in the NWSL. Disappointing to see her leave after one single season considering she brought a lot to the team.

Hollie Augustus, the 19 year old development team goalkeeper, went on a season loan to Lewes Ladies in the FA WPL. The chance of seeing her with the club when her loan finishes in June are quite small as not many Arsenal Ladies loanee made it back to the club ( except Jordan Nobbs)

In:

Danielle Van De Donk: the Dutch international attacking midfielder is a quick player with technicall skills will add depth in a strong midfield squad.

Katie McCabe: the young left footed Irish forward comes in and will slot perfectly into the place of Chioma Ubogagu on the left wing and will learn from rachel yankey’s tutoring.

Contract extension:

Jemma Rose: one year after signing on, the newly capped England defender has signed a contract extension. Arsenal will have four quality center-backs in the squad this season.

Transfer gossip:

Fara Williams: her alleged signing had been doing the rounds since November but nothing has happened so far.

An international defender and a midfield player could join the club, while a defender and a midfielder might be on their way out as well.
