Numerous sources are reporting that Arsene Wenger is keen on a move for Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi.

The 20-year-old has apparently been on the boss’s radar for some time and despite having a rocky time at the Catalan club, he’s still a huge prospect.

Given our history of buying young Barcelona players, you’d be foolish to completely rule out a move for the youngster.

The Spaniard has scored twice and assisted six in 18 appearances so far this season, which isn’t too shabby for a forward in such a competitive team.

Whether we’re interested in him or not, the kid is clearly talented and adding more Spanish flair to our youth squad is always a plus. If he does turn out to be as good as Wenger clearly thinks he is, who knows, we could even see him appear for the first team once or twice.

However, for now the rumours are precisely that: rumours.
