Speaking to the press ahead of Wednesday’s game against Olympiacos, Arsène Wenger has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will play in the crunch match.

Ramsey and Mesut Özil both missed training on Tuesday morning but did travel with the team and are apparently fit to play.

So Ramsey will play?

Mesut Özil was also on the plane to Greece, and Arsenal only took 19 players with the first team so the German is almost certainly ok to feature.

With so many players injured, Wenger will be determined to get the most out of his key men. The likes of Alexis Sánchez, Santi Cazorla, Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere are all out so the attacking onus heavily falls on the shoulders of Özil, Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey. With qualification on the line, Arsenal need their top players at the very top of their game and shape in order to get the required win with two or more goals.
