Arsenal have been linked with a move for Real Madrid attacker Isco for a couple of seasons now.

However, the La Liga giants are now reportedly finally ready to give the nod for the 23-year-old to move to north London.

The young goalscorer is supposedly unhappy at Madrid after seeing minimal game time. Although he’s getting a fair few appearances in, he’s rarely getting a full game and although he would have known the type of competition he’d face at such a huge team, he’s apparently not impressed.

Although I’d welcome the signing for such a talented player (despite minimal game time, he’s still scored three goals and assisted eight in 19 appearances), I highly doubt we will. Even though Real Madrid are apparently ready to part company with the Spaniard, he won’t be cheap. His potential is massive and the La Liga team know this.

Saying this, if anyone can negotiate a deal, Wenger can.
