Any one who’s ever watch Arsenal play regularly will know Aaron Ramsey is at his best in a central midfield role.

Since the midfielder has been at Arsenal, he’s been pushed around in a number of roles, including out wide, and has managed to do a job. Although he’s not necessarily always been at his best, he’s made do, never complained and become one of the best all-round midfielders in the world.

Now, the Welshman is getting a chance in his favourite position and is loving life.

After our 2-0 win over Aston Villa, in which Ramsey scored his second goal since returning from injury, he said, “I’m really enjoying it. That’s where I feel I play my best football and can have an effect on the game.

“I’ve scored a couple and had a couple of assists as well in the three games I’ve played there. So I’m delighted with the way things are going in there, hopefully I can continue to do well there.”

Watching Rambo get to flourish in his favoured role is brilliant to see. When he was out injured, we missed him huge amounts and we’re truly seeing why now he’s back. If he continues to play centrally, I have no doubt he’ll only excel even further, which is simply mind-boggling.
