Mesut Ozil has been named PFA Player of the Month for November after the German nicked more than twice the number of assists compared to his nearest rival in the top flight.

The midfielder came in ahead of Jamie Vardy, who equalled Ruud van Horseface’s Premier League consecutive scoring run, and Manchester United’s Chris Smalling.

November was, generally, a total disaster for Arsenal but Mesut Ozil was a beacon of awesomeness and the standout player for the Gunners – it’s why we picked him as the Daily Cannon player of the month for November as well. He also won it in October.

Ozil is enjoying his best spell at Arsenal since he arrived a few seasons ago.

He has had a direct hand in 14 Arsenal goals in his last 13 games (two goals, 12 assists) and is generally better than you, me, Neil Ashton and everyone else on the planet.

That is all.

Ozil.
