Although Arsene Wenger shows no immediate signs of upping and leaving us, rumours have been circulating for a while over who could be his replacement and Thierry Henry reckons that Bayern Munich manager, Pep Guardiola, could be in the frame.

The Arsenal legend mentioned recently in an interview with Marca that he believes the former Barcelona manager would move to the Premier League in the future.

“I think Guardiola will end up training in England,” Henry said.

“He is a born competitor and wants to win in several countries.”

Saying this, it doesn’t appear that Henry has directly implied that Pep would come to Arsenal and it’s far more likely, in my honest opinion, that he’d end up at Man City or even United after Van Gaal swans off in 2017.

I would love to see Pep at Arsenal. I know there are a few more candidates who are much more likely to slot in but the man is top class – his record speaks for itself. Two Champions League trophies, as well as countless titles, is no joke.
