With Arsenal’s clash against Manchester City getting closer and closer, Petr Cech admitted that sometimes in the big games, the result comes down to luck.

The goalkeeper believes that it’s the little details in big games that can make the difference as often the clashes with your rivals are so evenly matched, it can be something tiny that wins or loses you the three points.

He also admitted that it can come down to luck, saying, “All the little details in big games count. You can have a great game but get a little detail wrong and end up losing. It is as well a little bit about luck – you can hit the post three times and then you concede a deflected shot that you can’t do anything about.”

Arsenal have had our fair share of good and bad luck this season… mostly bad if you take into account the huge amount of injuries we’ve had. However, despite this, most of the time we’ve managed to pull through and get the points.

We currently sit five points off Leicester in the Premier League and a win will put us within reaching distance of the top. A victory over City will also put us four points clear of our rivals.
