Predictably, Arsenal are currently being linked with just about every midfielder on the planet.

The latest is Dinamo Zagreb man Marcelo Brozovic, who went on an 18-month loan to Inter Milan after we were strongly linked with him last January.

The 23-year-old central midfielder has made 12 appearances for Inter and scored three goals, and Inter like him so much they’re apparently about to sign him permanently for £8m… before selling him…

According to reports, we’re willing to pay £11.9m for the player, but other teams, like Chelsea, are also interested.

Although the midfielder does appear to be impressing and is probably more likely to join us than some of the bigger names that have been linked to us recently, the situation surrounding him seems a little unsteady considering Inter want to apparently buy him, then sell him on. If they like him that much, why would they be so keen to get rid of him?
