Arsenal appear to have been dealt another injury blow ahead of the north London derby on Sunday.

Hector Bellerin was left our of the clash against Bayern Munich in the Champions League as a precaution with a suspected groin injury and after the embarrassing 5-1 defeat, Wenger confirmed that the defender isn’t likely to be ready for the game against Spurs.

“I don’t think Bellerin will be available for Sunday but there is a small chance,” Wenger said. “From tonight we don’t have any new injuries.”

Arsenal really missed our pacey full back against the German team. With the Ox and Theo also injured, we lacked speed going forward and appeared a little stagnant. Of course, some of this could be attributed to Bayern generally playing a lot better than us but a huge part of it was having most of our fast players sidelined.

All we can do now is go home, regroup and hopefully be a lot more organised when we play host to Spurs in the Premier League. We can’t magically have all our players fit so we have to make the best of what we’ve got.
