Compared to Toni Kroos in the summer, Arsenal signing Vlad Dragomir has netted his first official goal for the club and he showed flashes of the German midfielder in the process.

The Romania u17 international signed for the Gunners in the summer and was compared to Kroos by his own agent, so maybe we shouldn’t take the likeness so seriously. Nonetheless, he hit a fantastic effort with Arsenal 2-1 down to get his side back onto level terms.

My first official goal ! 😄

Not bad at all!

Arsenal had taken an early lead through Eddie Nketiah but found themselves behind by half-time.

Dragomir’s goal levelled the scores and fellow summer addition Yassin Fortune scored the winner with around 15 minutes remaining.

With six wins from thirteen games, Arsenal are currently fourth in the u18 Premier League south group. Nketiah is the top scorer in the side with seven goals from 12 appearances, only six of which have been from the start of the game.

Hopefully the team is strengthened by the return of various players who have been on international duty over previous weeks, with Vlad Dragomir and Yassin Fortune clearly two of the more talented players in the squad.
